Internal Audit Review of the Addis Ababa Office

Our partner is an international charity that provides training in more efficient agricultural techniques to the rural poor of Africa in order to enable them to better manage their crops, forests, livestock and access to water.

Our partner aims to end hunger and bring prosperity to rural Africa. It works with different types of farmers in five countries in eastern Africa. Their specific situations vary but most are facing increasing economic, health and environmental vulnerability

The organisation requires an internal auditor for its Ethiopian country office:

The three week role would be akin to conducting an internal audit – understanding the structure of the organisation, assessing its existing financial procedures and controls, and making recommendations/ implementing changes deemed necessary.

The scope of the audit will be to assess and conclude upon the financial controls, fraud and bribery, financial reporting, cash management, expenditure, staff costs and fixed assets of the Addis Ababa hub.

Accommodation and flights will be provided. In addition, airport pick-up and drop-off will be provided. The role is based in Addis Ababa where there are plenty of recreational activities.
