In response to the many requests for help from our UK based charity partners and the generous offer of support from our network of qualified accountants, we are now offering UK based charities a UK Volunteer Accountant Programme. The programme is designed to give charities with limited resources access to pro-bono qualified accounting expertise and an excellent way for accountants to give back whilst picking up some very rewarding experience in the not for profit sector.
Typical areas our UK volunteers have supported data to include: Year-end accounts preparation, Charities Commission reporting, audit preparation and bookeeping, system implementations, developing financial procedures & controls, budget preparation, cash-flow forecasting, cash management and financial planning. Most UK volunteer accountants have limited availability due to other work commitments and will therefore offer support on either a short term, part-time or remote basis.
