Mentor Together is a Charitable Trust committed to providing equal opportunities to all young people regardless of background. Their primary beneficiary are those from disadvantaged backgrounds. They offer mentoring to empower and equip youth with life skills and to prepare them for higher education. Their mentoring programmes include Face-to-Face mentoring and Mobile mentoring, the latter being a remote pairing via their mobile app, ‘Mentor To Go’. Their Life Skills programme focuses on at-risk youths at high school age, the aim is to aid a successful transition from school. The Work Skills programme focuses on undergraduates or students of vocational training courses that enable a successful transition into the workplace. Mentor Together began in Bangalore but now works widely across India’s major cities. Their head office remains in Bangalore.
