Carl found his experience extremely rewarding and kindly took the time to present at our workshop - click to see his presentation.

Carl graduated from Glasgow University with an MSC in Applied Mathematics. As a part-qualified CIMA accountant he has gained experience across four sectors where his focus has been to build effective accounting systems and processes, financial management and support senior management in making business decisions.

Carl was the third AfID volunteer working with Cambodian Rural Development Team (CRDT) in rural Kratié Province; supporting them for 3 months from June to Sept 2015. In addition to mentoring the Finance Manager he worked on their microfinance project, created a funding pipeline tool, and helped improve communication between finance and non-finance staff.
