Baraka Community Partnership was established in the UK with the aim to provide quality educational and health services in Zambian communities. Their key educational projects are delivered through the improvement of infrastructure and teaching aids in schools and by sponsoring children and young adults in their schooling. Baraka runs a hygiene outreach programme in Lusaka’s most deprived areas to teach children the importance of handwashing and avoiding poor hygiene practices which can cause preventable diseases; 2-3 times a year, this outreach ream travels to other rural communities in Zambia. Baraka has just started construction on a safe house facility for secondary girls in Southern Province.
